This module focuses on using information about learners' writing to inform your teaching. It is divided into three sections:

Section A:

Getting started - finding out about your learners' strengths and areas to work on

Section B:

Planning activities that will improve your learners' writing

Section C:

Putting your plans into action

As you work through this module you will be directed to:

  • Learning Progressions for Adult Literacy: Write to Communicate
  • Teaching Adults to Write to Communicate - Using the Learning Progressions

We suggest that you work through this module over a couple of weeks, taking time to try out the activities before moving on.
