The National Centre of Literacy and Numeracy for Adults and the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), Auckland hosted the second Pacific Peoples’ Symposium on Friday 29 November 2013.

The theme was "Maximising change for Pacific people through literacy, language and numeracy".

The Symposium was a professional dialogue event. An inspirational keynote presentation was followed by a series of workshops formatted to balance content presentations and reflection. Our desire was to create an event where participants actively participate in presentations, workshops and discussions.
