Professional development programme 2013

Kia ora and welcome to our 2013 professional development programme.

We have an enduring commitment to our vision of enhancing the lives of all New Zealanders through improved literacy and numeracy outcomes for adults. Our professional development theme this year is for ‘Enquiry, Experimentation and Creativity’. In alignment with the theme, our professional development programme is designed to provide high quality professional learning opportunities to develop the capability of organisations, educators and managers.

We promote an embedded approach to literacy and numeracy which equips educators to identify literacy and numeracy needs and demands, and supports adult learning in a range of contexts.

We provide professional learning opportunities in the form of workshops, on-line modules, symposia and a tailored advisory service for organisations, educators and managers.
