The National Centre of Literacy and Numeracy for Adults Symposium was held at the Westpac Stadium Function Centre in Wellington on the 9th and 10th July 2014. The theme was 'COMMON THREADS: Sharing effective practice for diverse learners', 'KO NGA MIRO TAURITE: Tukua kia rere'.

This combined two day Wānanga - Fono- Symposium showcases good literacy and numeracy practice with Māori and Pacific adult learners. It is to be held at Te Noho Kotahitanga marae, Unitec, Mount Albert, Auckland on the 25th and 26th September 2014. The theme is “Navigating the Literacy and Numeracy Oceans in Aotearoa: Understanding the Currents and Tides”.
The Tairawhiti Literacy and Numeracy Symposium aims to stimulate thinking and discussion for literacy and numeracy capability building through a regional approach. It is to be held at Turanga Ararau in Gisborne on the 28th November 2014. The theme is “Building literacy and numeracy capability through a youth, tertiary, employer or community lens”.
